Buyers who have not Explored India are invited to participate in this program. Buyers who have not had a great experience working in past but still see potential in India are invited. Buyers who are unable to travel to India but are interested to work with India Designers for whom confidentiality is key, are invited to participate and keep FBA in the loop as a safety net.

HBP is scheduled on a monthly basis; it is divided by Categories and the number of participants. Typically 10+ Buyers are hosted each Month. Buyers with similar Categories are invited in the same time period so as to make the trip efficient and advantageous for all stakeholders participating in the HBP.

• Day 0: Arrive in India (Airport to Hotel Transfer Incl.)
• Day 1: Meet FBA Team & Sourcing Managers – Discuss Your Categories and select the Ideal Partner / Manager for the trip. In some cases, FBA will organize a private expo for the Buyer Community to understand the category better
• Day 2 and 3: Visit factories / Showrooms based on your Categories of Interest
• Day 4 and 5: Sightseeing - Explore India – Historically / Landscape / Markets / Adventure / Wellness based on your interest areas
• Day 6: RECAP-Share your feedback with FBA on the trip. Decide on the way forward with India. Catch your flight Back Home
• Day 7: Arrive back home

The HBP is a participatory-based program wherein all stakeholders who have an interest in doing business pool up their resources. Each stakeholder pays a certain fee equivalent to the inputs and gains they expect from the program. This is not a Govt. funded program. FBA as the organizing body is a Not-for-Profit Non-Govt Body and is committed to creating an ecosystem that works for the benefit of generating business opportunities for the community.

FBA assigned representative will meet you in the AIRPORT –MEEET & GREET AREA. The rep will escort you to your Hotel. FBA Team will meet you and go over the week’s itinerary as drawn and shared prior to your leaving for the India trip and fine-tune the same.

As your travel cost is hugely incentivised, it is expected of you to meet the Participating Stakeholders at least once during the trip. Ideally on the First Day, as per your Itinerary schedule.

Stakeholders include Sourcing Managers, Exporters, Solution Providers such as Logistic Companies; Tour Operators; Cargo Handlers; Payment platforms, Technical Support firms, Digital Agencies; and Others in similar Support capacities.

Yes. You are at free will to work with or without the Sourcing Manager / FBA Member. However, FBA recommends working with someone who is under the FBA watch, for a better sense of security and representation in the country should you require it, during the course of the business as transacted.

Yes. You can come early as well OR extend your trip as needed. Simply inform the FBA-HBP Organising team of your intent and dates. What is mandatory is your attendance on the 1st day of the Business Meetings with all stakeholders of the ecosystem.

The normal dress code is ok. Casual or formal is not important. However due to temperate weather conditions & when visiting factories, it is best to be dressed moderately (avoid fashion-forward dressing).

Yes. English is the most common language & understood by most people on the street.

It is as safe as any other City on the Globe. One needs to be mindful of his/her surroundings and the company they are in.
